The Municipal Counselling Centre of Aglantzia is a social non-profit making institution which has been operating since 2011 on the initiative of the Municipality of Aglantzia. It aims to promote the welfare and improve the quality of life of citizens, providing primary intervention through counselling and support services. Modern social problems, the lack of a supportive environment, the feeling of exhaustion that rises out of the accumulated pressure, often lead a person to a dead end and emotional fatigue. The Municipal Counselling Centre of Aglantzia is close to the people and through counselling and psychological support intervention, aims to strengthen them, so that they can take actions to solve their problems .Utilising on the one hand their inner strengths and on the other hand the resources of the community, the expansion of the problems is prevented and gradually, through small achievements, the individual proceeds to the improvement of his living conditions motivated by a spirit of hope and optimism.
