Day of Europe – Europe’s Square

Our homeland has the honour of being a member of the large European family. Aglantzia’s Municipality saw from the start the importance of the new european era for the present and the future of our country and for the future of the new generation. Based on this on the 9th May 2006, paying a tribute to the Day of Europe, it carried out with a specific ceremony the founding of Europe’s Square on Larnaca Avenue, opposite the Central Offices of the New Co-operative Credit Company of Aglantzia.

Furthermore, we try and participate actively, in all programmes and european conferences that are carried out through the European Union, for local government, as well as in organs of the European Union, such as the European Regions and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions.
